Size Guide
When determining what type and what size of art to display in a given area – we have a few recommendations that may help make the process easier.
We offer a wide variety of standard sizes and one or more should work for your needs. But, we can always build art in custom sizes to fit your unique needs. We also offer Wall Graphics and additional substrates. Art that is too small will get lost in the space and look out of place. Art that is too large will dominate the space. We recommend you start with a tape measure to determine if one of our standard sizes (width & height) will work for your space.
If your brand has minimum size requirements, then those guidelines should be followed. But some spaces need art that is larger than the minimum – so make selections based on the best size for the space.
If a tape measure alone does not help then we recommend either:
- Use blue painters tape to measure the space on the wall – the tape “box” you place on the wall will give you a really good representation of how the art size will work in the space.
- Use a piece of cardboard or poster board – cut to the proper size – and hold it up or tape it to the wall to represent the art. Either method will allow you to determine if the art size works well in the space. Adjust as needed until you’re happy with the results.
Guest Room Side Wall
Size: A variety of sizes could work for the side wall in your guest rooms. Measure the available wall space before deciding what size artwork to purchase. Don't forget to account for thermostats, smoke detectors, light switches, etc.
Product: Any of our available products could work well for your guest rooms. Our lowest cost product is the Framed Textured Panel, which looks great in any guest room! We recommend the Gallery Wrapped Canvas for a modern look. A Framed Print with Mat is a great option for a more traditional and upscale look. Acrylic Art is the perfect solution if you want a contemporary design that has the "wow factor"!
Bath Art
Size: If you're putting art above your toilet, we generally recommend sizes 18" x 24", 20" x 20", 24" x 30". (See below for examples.) Measure the available wall space before deciding what size artwork to purchase.
If you have a larger space to work with, then use our "Right Size" guidelines to select the perfect size.
Product: If humidity is a concern in your hotel bathroom, we'd suggest staying away from Framed Prints with Mat, since moisture could get trapped under the glass. Instead try Framed Textured Panel or Acrylic.
Over Headboard
Size: We suggest our Oversized Horizontal Sizes for over the headboard in your guest rooms. Measure the available wall space before deciding what size artwork to purchase. Measure the space from the top of the headboard to the ceiling. To make installation easier, we recommend allowing for at least 5 inches of additional space between the artwork and the headboard/ceiling.

Over Sofa Art Guide
